ok I was checking to see where the remains of the sticker were and just started looking all around the door frame first off Someone primered the truck a while back I assume to help preserve it Second I found the vin tag not near the door latch but directly overhead in the center it appears to be original and untouched. Now the thing is you cant change a vin number on a title that I'm aware of nor the year All numbers match and the title says 64 but the vin decoder says 66 its not a big deal and I'm not worried about anything Just curious well other then I Know in 64 they had 230 engines and 66 had 250 so I'm wandering what I have in case I need parts guess I need to find numbers on engine but that will require some old oil build up to be removed. Keep the comments and help coming Do you think it may be a 66? I'd be more likely to beleave it was the other way around and the title said 66 and the vin decoder said it was a 64 because sometimes the year on the title reflected when the truck was sold.
