The guy I got it from said it had a 250 it appears to be original the vin does start with c1446 it is a half ton. I would say this isn't the first title I don't think the guy I bought it from was the first owner as he was to young
Very possible that a gov person messed up but I didn't think they changed years are entered that stuff. Here you can can ghange title info if you build 1 out of 2 and get the state police to inspect it and then they re-register it.
This may just remain a mystery.
