I just found a 1959 261, according to the casting numbers on the head and block. The valvetrain appears to be in good shape, upon site and the oil that is in the crankcase appears to be surprisingly clean. Any advise as to how in depth I should get on the tear down? Should I take it to a machine shop to have it Magnafluxed? Thanks for the help, I think this will be a good engine!
