Just got the outside door handles on and they are straight with the door open, but hang down when the door is closed.
I guess the latch is not extending as it should.
I have new stricker plates and wondered if they are not adjusted quite right.
I have seen springs you can buy to cause the handles to pull back horizontal.
Maybe that's the answer.?
Any ideas?
