The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk engine paint ?

I'm surprised it's rated so low. Most any automotive paint will take 300 deg. Engine paints in rattle cans are rated at 500. I wouldn't use it, the temps in your radiator get to 212 and then boils out. Temp of the head has to be at least that if not higher. Cecil........
