The most common truck in these parts is the AD Big Bolt.. there are a few Deco big bolts around here and there, but the 1/2 ton Deco trucks aren't all that common.
I'd only seen one 1/2 ton Deco truck around here, and the guy decided it was worth $3000.. it's all original, but been sitting under trees for the last 30 years.. no title.. not running..full of mice.
I had to import my '46 1/2 ton from Oklahoma (swapped the '67 even up with Patrick).. dosen't look like the Oklahoma winters are as kind to trucks as the Nebraska high plains winters are, but it's had a few dozen paintjobs over the years to help protect the metal, and all in all, it's pretty solid.
I've wanted a '46 1/2 ton ever since the day I brought the '46 2 ton home.. but the truth is i've wanted both trucks for many, many years.
Kinda neat that the '46 1/2 ton was built in September, and September was the month I got it.
