I do know that the 216 in my 46 isn't the original one (at least, I'm 99% sure), so it may be a later model or one out of a car or something.
It's good that you found the plugs that fit!
I just thought I'd ask about the crank, seeing that you mentioned that you didn't have one. No big deal.
