Another thing you might try (if you have one) is a crank through the factory crank hole in the grille. Your grille still has the original cover on the hole, so if your other truck has the hand crank, try that...
The hood was just sitting on the truck when I got it and wasn't even latched down. When I turned the engine, I did it just enough to see if it would move at all, not a complete rotation. The guy that had it before me had it sitting nose-out from a pole barn for quite some time. I don't remember if he was the one who did the head work or if it was the owner before him.
