I used the REZ engineering power steering adapter on my 64. I used the box from an 80 model, which should be basically the same as yours. No welding, simple instructions. I have to say it is the best improvement i have done to my truck besides disc brakes. You can use the frontend from the 85 model. Some people swap crossmembers, some just swap the parts. This falls some between simple and agrivating, but not straight foward. I swapped in a 71 frontend under my 64. It is worth the effort. If i was to do it again i would go with a later model because of the rubber control arm bushings. They ride better and are a whole lot cheaper to replace. Let me know if i can help.
