So whats the difficulty with using a GM power box ? you have a good chassis rail to bolt it to.
I just checked 4onthefloor suggestion ,,,, I had one of those ram assist setup on my LandCruiser , it worked good off road , in that there was no steering kick back , and was easy to drive on the road ( 11" Cooper tyres ) ,, but parking was still hard ,,,,, the rig didn't have enough power assist .
A power box is the story ,,,, may have to box the chassis some .
