| | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 93 Member | | Member Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 93 | Hi guys, I would like some opinions from you experts out there. I am looking at a 57 GMC 1/2 ton. It has the 261 six and a 4 speed (granny low) transmission. The seller does not know what rear end it has but I suspect it is a 4:11. My concern is that I live in So. Calif. and must drive the freeways to go anywhere. What do you think of that engine, tranny, rear end set up? Am I going to be limited to 60 mph or so?
