Does anyone know if the side tire mount from a 54 Chevy 1/2 ton will fit a 49 Chevy 3/4 ton. The truck I bought has a mickey mouse set up where he drilled a hole in the bed on the passenger side. Did Chevy make dimpled fenders for the 3/4 ton? Since the bed is already longer maybe they didn't come with the special fender. My 49 3/4 ton truck has the regular fender and the tire fits perfectly. Also was it a option to which side of the truck it's suppose to be on?
