You will have to decide for yourself what is best for you and your current situation. I was able to park mine until I had the resources to put it back on the road. It took me 26 years to get to that point.
During my "slump" the thought of selling it crossed my mind over and over again. I only paid $500 for it back in 1976, but I wasn't even sure I could get that out of it with the fact it sat for so long under the hot California sun.
If you can, put it in perspective. Look what progress you have made during the last five years of its life! In those few years, you have come along way to bring your truck to the point that you know your hard work has resulted in a 52 year old truck being mechanically sound once again! Congratulate yourself on that achievement!
Maybe a few coats of spray can primer will spruce it up for now. That is what I did with my truck for the three years I drove it everyday.
