Seems to be a bit of a formality that I skipped along the way... I apologize to all of you... I thought my profile was sufficient...

I have been hanging around for about a month now and I have become addicted to these forums. Everyone here seems to be very helpful and sincere, and most seem to have a great sense of humor also... I think a person needs to be able to laugh at themselves and life's little surprises... Please always remember that I laugh "with" you and NOT "at" you.

I especially enjoy the Greasy Spoon and some of the strange stuff I have found in there.

I am a father of three: A stepdaughter who is 27, a son who is going to be 17 next month (His 'bolt is three times his age), and another son who is 8. I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania with my wife, the two boys, several cats, chickens, ducks, and other animals. (The girl lives about 45 minutes away)

I am not sure I am even leagally a 'bolter because the 57 panel actually belongs to my son. I do feel responsible for it though and therefore it is included in my cylinder index along with the two parts donors. After regestering for these forums, I had a hard time remembering if I ever even wore a bowtie, but then I recalled that I had a 78 Chevy pickup at one time.

I am in the process of helping my son with the 57 panel. We will be building it from the ground up. I cant say exactly what it will be when it is done, other than a 57 panel / Blazer hybrid with any number of other modifications. After all, it belongs to a sixteen year old "young man" and his taste and mine aren't always parallel. Whatever it turns out to be will be perfect (or not) in someone's eyes.

Thank you all for everything you do to make this site so wonderful, and a special thanks to Peg and John for providing this "place".

Although I am relatively new I already feel welcome...
