| | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 | To use the umbrella seals, you will need to take the head back to the machine shop and have them spotface the surface for the seals. They should have recommended this for you, it's not that difficult and shouldn't take very long or cost much. Highly recommended, too. Stops oil from seeping down the valve stem and smoking on cold startup.
