| | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 27 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: May 2005 Posts: 27 | I have a 62 C-10 Stepside with a transplanted 327 from a car with no accesory holes on the heads. (the fronts are smooth) It has an old generator and a beat looking but still working voltage regulator. I want reliability. Should I go to the trouble of an alternator or just carry an extra set of brushes and regulator? Thanks.
