| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 144 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 144 | I have a 46 Chev 1/2 ton 115" wheelbase and am restoring it. I checked the specs on the frame/chassis stripped and I'm getting 2 different lengths. Stripped frame is 171 7/8 inches and stripped chassis says 184 inches. This was all under 46 Chev truck specs out of the same book. Does anyone know the actual length completely stripped as I have to weld on an extension on the front end as it's been changed to a rack and pinion system and the length is very critical.
