The 3100 bare frame overall length is 171 7/8". What they call the stripped chassis is the flat face cowl chassis, which has an overall length of 184", which must include additional equipment on the frame. If you don't have a resto pack, you can check out the chassis and frame dimensions
here. Unfortunately, the pictures/drawings aren't very clear, though.
