Here are a few tips I ran found worked for me. Use a drill or drill press and spin the new ball ends, then using valve lapping compound, hold the sockets to the ball with finger pressure only. This will knock off the edges and help seat the sockets to the ball. Mine were made in China so they weren't the best fit to each other. I also had to cut the threads part way off the front draglink ball ends due to clearance with the axle. I just heated up the remaining threads and peaned them in like the originals were. This was on a '37 so yours may have more room, but check to make sure! Joe
