ive got a 1955 chevy pickup. i am looking to replace the rear axle. i was wondering if anyone knew of a year that chevrolet made an axle that is the same width as the one currently in my pickup. thanks for any answers. sorry for not specifying, the truck in question is a second series pickup. do any of these vehicles have posi-trac? what size is the replacement rear end? thanks again
