I took the Holley/Weber apart and cleaned everything. It all looked good except for some marks on the float I didn't like. I put it in a big jar of water, and it did not sink or leak, so I guess it's okay. I also made an air cleaner out of two mid 80's hub caps, and the stock filter. Now I have a cool weber air cleaner with a Chevy Bow Tie emblem. It will be Wednesday of next week before I get a chance to actually try the carb.
