Well - well - well; my other carb came from Langdon's much earlier than I anticipated. It came in a factory Holley box, so I guess I was wrong about Tom rebuilding it. It is a new Holley Reman. It works great right out of the box. I did zero mods, just bolted her on and away we went. I'll hook up the water heated automatic choke tomorrow. That'll be a nice addition!
