update on the leaking tank. I cleaned it out with water and soak as was just ready to torch it. I used a vise grip to hold the shutoff when I noticed the hole pipe turned??? It was not soldered. It's a threaded pipe. The leak was comming from the threads. The thread was screwed all the way into the tank where I could not see the threads. Anyway I spent alot of time cleaning the tank for nothing. I just need to replace the valve. Any suggestion how to make sure all the water is out of tank since I am not removing the tank. Is there a product that remove the water when I fill it up with gas. One other thing when I replace the threaded pipe what do I use on the threads to prevent it from leaking.
