My '60 GMC currently has a 4 speed but originally came with a 3 speed with column shift. I'd like to put it back to original and need information on the correct transmission to look for. All I know so far is the info off the 6066 GMC website that calls for a SM318 transmission. Are there any other numbers, codes, whatever I need to look for to get the correct transmission? All help is appreciated.
