Thanks for the reply wrenchbender ret. I would like to restore the truck back to original. The 4 speed in it came out of a Ford 1 ton I was told. Other than that it's all there and original. I'm going to the swap meet at The Woodlands tomorrow and want to know what to look for. Any numbers on the case, length, mounting points, number of mounts, things like that. I found a transmission in Lincoln last month for $20 but wasn't sure it was the correct style for my truck and neither was the seller.
