Does your valve cover have the two nuts on the top holding it on or 4 around the outside with no nuts on the top?

If you find the # near the dipstick and post that on here, someone will be able to tell you what engine you are running.

If you have not checked the tech tips section above, there are a couple of articles on the T-5. Here in MN, the T-5s are hard to come by. I have a line on one but have to figure out a way to get it....truck is heading for the crusher...I can't buy the whole thing....hopefully the tranny can come out before it goes to China.......

Someone may have diffent opinions....but you will spend the same if not more rebuilding your six than a V-8....I don't mean "build a V-8 instead"......just something to compare it to.

If your head has not been updated, good time to install the hardened seats and all that stuff..
