what ever happend to the engine that was being developed buy Texco oil company (in the 60s) that was a multi fuel(gas, kerosene, fuel oil) direct injecion CI four stroke
it was supposed to be real ecnomical littel engine with good power the test car thay had got 40 miles to the gallon with plenty of power
any body know anything about this?
I found this in a old book on alternitive power
"Ford, has a development contract with Texaco, Inc., on a clean- exhaust engine that is suppose to double gas mileage, and pur along equally well on diesel oil , furnace fuel, kerosene or high octane gas."
