I'm pretty sure the ring gear is the same for all 230-250-292 flywheels (and maybe even V-8's) so you can just replace that and keep your flywheel. You can remove it by heating it up with a propane torch and tapping it off with a hammer. Heat the new one in an oven or bbq grill to about 200 degrees and drop it on the flywheel. Be careful not to burn yourself.
