That looks like a good idea. My only concern would be the melting point of that material. I would hate to have these Texas summers melt all that into the bottom of my door. I have sent the manufacturer a query on this but no reply as yet. My concern is due to the intended use of this material on a flat surface. When placed on a vertical surface it may want to slide. Probably no concern at all. Again, good idea.
