I did the inside of my rig including the roof with the self sticking foil back foam from the HVAC industry. Zero Rusted all the steel first and applied the film. Seems to have hung on the roof through a couple of summers now.
If there is any concern about sticking any of these products overhead, just ask for a thermo-set adhesive rather that a thermo-plastic adhesive.
