Brad, I always use Don Moen\'s AD Serial Number page to decode AD numbers. If your VIN was 5FS-D1655, you would have: 5 = Kansas City, MO assembly plant F = 1948 model S = 3800 series (1 ton) D = April 1655 = sequential assembly number
