I'm smack dab in the middle of installing a 5 speed s-10 transmission and I have a question. The only disc that will work is 11 inches/14 spline. My original pressure plate has a 10 inch clutch disc. Since I'm planning to use a stock '63 pressure plate, can I just get a pressure plate for an 11 inch disc (I know these trucks came with 10,11,or 12 inch clutches) and will it bolt to my stock flywheel?? Any help is appreciated.
P.S.--Does anyone know why my engine and bellhousing, out of a Pontiac, have a Chevy bolt pattern?? I was surprised.
