Yes, I have and am running solid lifters on a hyd cam and the truck runs fine. My problem had been having the hyd lifters leak down in cold weather no matter how I adjusted them. The truck missed something awful for several seconds after a cold start. The engine is out of a car so that explains why it has a hydraulic cam. I ran the previous engine over 100k miles with solid lifters on a hydraulic cam-just adjusted the valves 8 and 18. If someone has any ideas on how to keep the hydraulic lifters from leaking down I will reinstall them as they were a lot quieter once they pumped up.
