Just a suggestion.....when you're refacing the gauges, or any of the vinyl decals on the AD truck, there are a couple tricks to getting them to look perfect! First of all, you need to carefully wipe the old gauge face clean...you'll note a flacky residue. I used a little piece of red scrungy pad. Use some alcohol to remove the residue and then add some water! Yup water!
Mix a couple drops of dish detergent in a glass of water, use a q-tip to wet the gauge face surface. The water/soap solution will allow you to use some tweezers to position your new vinyl face under the needle without it sticking in the wrong place. Once you've got it positioned, use another Q-tip to squeege the water and bubbles out from under the decal. Like magic, the vinyl sticks right where you want it, and the bubbles are easily worked out to the edges. Repeat on all the gauge faces and your cluster will look like new. Hope this helps you get it right the first time.
