Top priority and very first,,,disconnect the battery.
A droplight and mirror will help you find the 3 or 4 nuts that hold it on. Ive used a 1/4" drive socket set and one of those flexible nut drivers to loosen the nuts,,get it dropped down where you can label the wires and remove everything. From there its , take off the chrome bezel,,place all your stickers,,and put it back together.
Im sure ive left out some small or large details
but thats basically how it goes.
Oh yeah,,if you lay a pillow or some kinda cushion across your clutch and brake pedals,,it helps alot.
