I'm getting ready to install the new window run channels in the doors of my '50, 3604. first let me say that I do not want to use pop rivets, 3m weather strip adhesive or flat head screws to install them.
I have a new set of clips from Steele for the ends and up around the window opening. They each have a few triangular pointed tabs that are punched out and raised up about an 1/8 of an inch and perpendicular to the clip. They are the same as the original clips which were punched through the corrugated metal and bent over. Has anyone ever successfully installed these type of clips and if so do you have I'm looking for any suggestions for installing them with out destroying the channel?
