In my 46 I was able to use a split bench from a 89 Ford Ranger extended cab pickup. I know your 37 is smaller but the the best thing about these modern seats are luxuries like lumbar support and ability to flip the back foreward to access that bit of space. I'd comb the wrecking yards for some nice buckets. I mounted my seats first on a sheet of aluminum, then after I wanted my stock tank back I made another platform out of wood. Whatever you come up with it will be 1,000% better than the old stock back breaker.
