I did the wifes Kitchen in natural Hickory in 2003 , it just now agin an takin on its super Gold Patina , for me HICKORY is my favorite ... but i guess that is because i go through enough Cherry in a week at the shop that i could build Noah's Ark ....lol
dont matter what with Cherry it will darken with age , even with a clear coat , Heck i have to cover my stock at work with tarps or black plastic to keep the lights in the shop from turnin it color .
i just like the contrast between the super browns to snow white with the black mineral streaks from the bird peck's an such that i love this wood so much .
will be incorporatin it in my truck for alotta things .
