Not the way I did it on my 235, but why couldnt you add a short length of hose, clamped to bottom of tube, with the fitting in the end of it, and run the hose with the pcv valve in line, under the pan, and up to the vac fitting on the intake? You wouldnt have to cut,or drill your original tube, and you could remove the whole thing if needed at a later time, never knowing it was there.
I did put the valve itself, in the line, and it doesnt seem to have caused any problem. I used the F--- filter mounted in a grommet at the top of the tube. You can catch glimpses of it in the engine bay pics at
