Ok guys,
My truck has a 216, original vented valve cover ( no filler cap ). At the crankcase the oil filler and draft tube are combined. I'm toying with the idea of installing a pcv valve however I'd like to keep the original filler and draft tube if possible. The question is can I simply seal the base of the draft tube and drill it below the oil filler, instal a pipe fitting with 3/8 hose and instal the pcv valve inline. The truck has electric wipers so there is no problem using the old vacuum wiper outlet on the inlet manifold.
