I got a heavy duty polyproplene (1/8) for my 59 1 ton as I wanted to be able to turn the garden hose on it if need be. I put peel and seal under it to help quiet the thing down.
As for the door panels, you would get some spring clamps, pull the leather around the edges of the panel, put glue on the inside, and then put clamps all around it. This is how shops have recovered my motorcycle seats. If you really want to get fancy you could stitch it back there with no glue (like a girdle). | | |
