i have the panels, red leather (to match my bench seat) and adhesive, just dont know how to do it. dont want to screw it up and end up with a bunch of gummed up leather, also i need carpet, its a 59 apache with no major bumps in the floor, i can only find pre molded for ones with a big bump in the middle. where should i be looking, and if custom is the anwser, what kind of stripping/cloth would be most durable, i wouldent even be apposed to a large custom cut rubber mat, but i do not know where to aqire one.

LMC and other vendors should have the carpet for low hump and high hump trucks of that vintage. I got a heavy duty polyproplene (1/8) for my 59 1 ton as I wanted to be able to turn the garden hose on it if need be. I put peel and seal under it to help quiet the thing down.

As for the door panels, you would get some spring clamps, pull the leather around the edges of the panel, put glue on the inside, and then put clamps all around it. This is how shops have recovered my motorcycle seats. If you really want to get fancy you could stitch it back there with no glue (like a girdle).

thanks dood, i think im going to do the same thing and not worry about the carpet, and as for the door panels how about wrapping a peice of rope around it really tight? i only have like 2 vicegrips, i doubt that would be enough by itself.
