As far as getting the paint into an rattle can- If it doesn't require activator/harnder NAPA or your local paint store can put it into a pressurized can for a few bucks. When you mix paint with those ingrediates it begins to degrade immediately and isn't usable after a short while. If it does require that stuff, you can buy either a "perval spray system" refillable aerosol can.

Both are available at Harbor Freight and other vendors.

The Perval system uses disposible cans of comressed air that screw onto a jar that you put the paint into. The tops of the disposible cans have regular rattle can tips and that connect to the jar via a tube from the jar that plugs into a gasket at the bottom of the disposible can.

The refillable areosol can has a screw off lid and an air fitting so you can put the mixed paint into the can, pump it full of air with any pump=hand pump, compressor, gas station's compressor..., and then paint with it. The refillable aerosol can comes with extra tips.

Both work fine.
