Whoever is selling the carpets should be asking you certain information for your applications. Most all of the high tunnels were for turbo 400 transmissions, or 4 speed manual. To help out with your application, if you still have the original data plate information you can find out exactly what you have. Do not use steam on your carpet ..... the heat gun advice is correct on the backing for forming and streching. Bottom line you have the wrong carpet for your application, and it will not fit without cutting. There are 2 different grades of carpeting as well, spend a little more money $30 on the better quality.
