I was referring to the piece of plate metal that's at a 45 degree angle to your speaker grille...It just dawned on me how massive the magnet is on that speaker...I know my OE speaker didn't have a magnet like that! Is that a repro six volt speaker? Anyway, I just ordered a few things from Heavy Chevy, including that sponge seal...I'll be shocked if it's anything like the OE seal for 5 bucks. Might get a pleasant surprise, but I'm not holding my breath! I'll let everyone know how that goes!
