If you guys are talking about fitting the glass into the outer metal channel then what I did for my 56 was to soak the rubber in motor oil (any kind will do) then I layed the rubber into the channel... poked it in place with a flat head screwdriver then slid the glass into place. I then used shock cords to tightly hold the frame in place and layed the frame in front of a heater to help dry up.
All worked well! BTW, the oil idea came from a Chevy Duty Tech. I thought it was weird but it worked.
I should have done my vet windows while all was apart. But I think I can do those with the window assembly in place.
