Any mild solvent should work ok. Just read the labels and test in a small, hard to see place for paint worries. Adhesives are sometimes easier to work with if you use a heat gun to goo them up. Just VERY careful when using any heat source around solvents, plastic and fabric.
It may sound obvious and stupid, but check out the archived forum on "the dumbest thing I ever did in my garage." After reading that, warning lables don't seem so silly anymore!!!!
