I've had good luck finding better hardware from the older small hardware stores, then the box ones. If you have a local True Value or something similar, give them a check. You might be pleasantly surprised.
PS - Your next post should come through without needing approval and you should notice your status (under your member name) will change from Moderated to 'Bolter. From here on you'll have full access to everything the forums offer.
