Thanks again Kevin, you are correct, one of the previous owners must have done a good crash-test on the bumper mounts and it will take some doing to straighten them out.
ADDED: I am thinking: if I bolt a heavy channel across, with the bolt pattern from the old bumper, it should be possible to pull (or push) this out with the proper equipment.
I think I leave this alone for a bite and see if the whole frame needs to go on the table to be straightened, if so, we can lock it down and use chain pullers to move them.
Let's see once the cab & drivetrain is off/out.
