We are excited to announce the latest featured journal by “Pauld” in the Completed Journals section.
Paul has always been fond of AD trucks. He previously owned a 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton that he sold to help with a down payment for his first house.
Having looked for several years for an AD that was affordable, Paul finally found this 1952 GMC in the summer of 2021 in Albuquerque.
After taking some classes at our community College a few years back including auto body, welding and paint, Paul did all of the work himself. Breaking the rear glass after several attempts, Paul enlisted the help of a local glass installer to install the rear window and the windshield. In Paul's own words, "Man's got to know his limitations."
The finished project shows us all that you can create a truly awesome truck on a budget.
Congratulations, Paul, on a fantastic build. Enjoy your ride!
I highly suggest reading his journal from the beginning starting here.
